(a) What is the effect of sentence length on emphasis? (3)
(b) What are the main disadvantages of e-mail? (4)
(c) Which are the parts that should be included in a Resume? (3)
(d) What are the different ways of classifying a technical proposal? (4)
Replace the phrases of the following sentences without loss of meaning:

8. You are working in a company where the management is debating as to whether they should go in for centralized air-conditioning or air condition specific rooms. You have been asked to present a feasibility report on this. Present a report of whichever course of action you think is viable.

A social organization seeks donation from your company for their hospital extension. Write a letter, which is brief, clear, courteous and considerate, to the organization in your capacity as secretary of the company, refusing donation.
